It incorporates semi-apochromatic long working distance (LWD) infinity plan objectives (5X, 10X, 20X, 50X) and a polarizing unit (polarizer/analyzer) to enhance contrast and reveal grain orientation. Coaxial coarse and fine focusing knobs with 2 µm fine division provide precise adjustments. Illumination is supplied by a 12V/50W halogen lamp, ensuring stable and uniform brightness. A quintuple nosepiece and adjustable mechanical stage enable efficient workflow and detailed metallurgical analysis.
